These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website python-playground.com and related services operated by SHIFT LLC (the "Company"). By accessing or using Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing and ordering from SHIFT LLC through python-playground.com, you agree to these Terms. The Company disclaims liability for damages from using or inability to use site materials. SHIFT LLC reserves the right to modify pricing and usage policies at any time.
Python Playground is a browser-based Python development environment made available through python-playground.com and related browser extension experiences. The specific features and functionalities of each tool are described on the Website.
SHIFT LLC grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access and use Python Playground, including the website and browser extension where applicable, strictly in accordance with these Terms.
These Terms constitute a contract between you and SHIFT LLC. Violation may result in account cancellation or access blocking without notice.
Users cannot commercially exploit, license, sell, or reverse engineer the platform. You must not remove proprietary notices or create derivative works.
You are responsible for the code, files, uploads, packages, and other content you create, upload, sync, run, or share through Python Playground. You must not use the Service to violate laws, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, bypass access controls, disrupt the Service, abuse storage or network resources, attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts, distribute malware, or intentionally run hostile code for malware analysis or harmful activity.
You must not attempt to bypass billing, entitlement checks, account restrictions, upload limits, storage limits, or other technical protections. SHIFT LLC may suspend, restrict, or remove access to Pro features, cloud features, or accounts when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or the Service is being abused.
Python Playground Pro is currently in a prelaunch period. Paid checkout is not publicly available yet and may be disabled, hidden, or limited to verification and testing flows until SHIFT LLC enables public purchase access.
Python Playground may offer paid Pro plans, including recurring monthly access and one-time access options. Prices, plan names, included features, billing periods, and checkout terms are shown at purchase time and may change for future purchases.
Active Pro access is required for cloud write features such as creating cloud playgrounds, enabling cloud sync, syncing files, syncing package settings, publishing uploads, and using Playground Manager across devices. If your Pro access expires, is refunded, is revoked, or is otherwise inactive, cloud writing may be paused or disabled. Depending on the account state, existing cloud playgrounds may remain visible in a limited or paused mode, but continued syncing or new cloud writes may require renewal or a new purchase.
The free local core may remain available without Pro, subject to these Terms and technical availability. A one-time Pro purchase provides access to the applicable Pro features for the current Python Playground service, subject to these Terms, continued service availability, and any lawful restrictions or revocations.
Local-only playgrounds, files, uploads, package settings, preferences, and other application state may be stored in your browser. Local browser storage can be deleted by your browser, operating system, device settings, storage cleanup tools, extension removal, profile changes, or by clearing browser data. SHIFT LLC cannot recover local-only data that was never synced to cloud features.
When you enable Pro cloud features, selected playground files, upload metadata, uploaded file bytes, package settings, playground metadata, and related sync state may be transmitted to and stored in cloud infrastructure so they can be synced, kept as remote copies, restored to signed-in devices, or made available across signed-in devices. Deleting a cloud playground may remove its cloud copy and synced local copies on signed-in devices. Disabling sync may require local copies of cloud uploads to be available before a complete local-only copy can be kept.
We aim to preserve synced data, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, conflict-free, error-free, or immune from data loss. You are responsible for keeping independent copies of important code, files, and uploads.
User feedback becomes SHIFT LLC's exclusive property. The Company may use suggestions freely without compensation or attribution.
Using the Website constitutes agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms apply only to services provided by SHIFT LLC through python-playground.com. The Company is not responsible for external website content, accuracy, or policies.
SHIFT LLC uses cookies and similar technologies to identify visited areas, support analytics, and enhance functionality. Disabling cookies may limit site access. We do not intentionally store full payment card details in cookies. Cookies and similar technologies may contain identifiers or state used for analytics, sign-in, checkout, or preferences.
SHIFT LLC may discontinue services at its discretion without prior notice. Updated terms will be posted on python-playground.com with modification dates.
SHIFT LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Website or any service provided through it without notice and without liability to you.
Updates may modify features and become integral to the Service. The Company has no obligation to provide updates or maintain specific functionalities.
SHIFT LLC is not responsible for third-party content accuracy, legality, or quality. Users access such services at their own risk.
This agreement continues until terminated by either party. SHIFT LLC may suspend or terminate access without reason or notice. Immediate termination occurs upon policy violation.
Copyright owners must provide written notice including signatures, material identification, contact information, and good-faith statements.
Users agree to indemnify SHIFT LLC and its affiliates from claims arising from Website use, agreement violations, or third-party rights infringement.
The Website is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. The Company does not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or compatibility with other systems.
Liability is limited to amounts actually paid for the Website services. SHIFT LLC is not liable for consequential, indirect, or special damages.
If provisions are unenforceable, they will be modified to accomplish their objectives while remaining provisions continue in effect.
Failure to exercise rights does not constitute waiver of subsequent rights or breaches.
SHIFT LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes require 30 days' notice before taking effect.
These Terms supersede all prior agreements and constitute the complete understanding between parties.
The Website and its entire contents, features and functionality are owned by SHIFT LLC and are protected by Armenia and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under American Arbitration Association rules, excluding intellectual property injunction claims.
Disputes require written notice via email to: support@python-playground.com. Parties have 60 days for informal negotiation before arbitration.
Users waive jury trial rights. The prevailing party's legal costs are borne by the non-prevailing party.
You retain ownership of the code, files, uploads, package settings, project metadata, and other content you create or provide through Python Playground. You grant SHIFT LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, display, back up, sync, and otherwise handle your content only as needed to operate, secure, support, improve, and provide the Service and Pro cloud features.
Local-only content may remain in your browser and may never be transmitted to SHIFT LLC unless you use account-based, cloud-enabled, checkout, support, or related online features. Cloud-enabled content is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
Contests may require submissions and have separate rules. Users must review applicable rules to determine eligibility.
Incorrect pricing allows SHIFT LLC to refuse or cancel orders. Credits are issued immediately if charges were already applied.
These Terms are controlled by Armenia law. Courts may enforce injunctive relief for breaches. The Company operates from Armenia offices.
SHIFT LLC is not responsible for any content, code, or inaccuracies. Services are provided "as is" without warranties. SHIFT LLC exercises no editorial control over third-party content.
